The forever young rock icon Lita Ford’s new album, Living Like A Runaway will be released June 18 via SPV / Playground.

Lita Ford has worked with producer Gary Hoey and lyricist Michael Dan Ehmig, and they’ve put a lot of energy to get to the songs and lyrics.
“We worked on the lyrics intensively to really give the songs a lot of meaning and that special emotional depth. I think that these are some of the best lyrics ever, period.” Ford refers to songs like ‘Devil In My Head,’ ‘Hate,’ and ‘The Asylum’, songs which she bare his soul as never before.
This summer, Ford to tour with no less than rock giants Def Leppard and Poison in the U.S..
The tour, called “Rock Of Ages Tour”, should hopefully also reach Europe this autumn.
After Ford began his career in the legendary girl band The Runaways, she has also been an enormous success as a solo artist, including in the form of giant hit “Close My Eyes Forever”, a duet with Ozzy. Some of her other hits include “What Do You Know About Love,” “Shot Of Poison”, “Larger Than Life” and “Kiss Me Deadly.”
