Mariam The Believer is the nom de guerre that Mariam Wallentin, the singer from the duo Wildbirds & Peacedrums, has chosen for herself. In this solo adventure Wallentin leaves the mix of minimalistic blues, pop and rock impro that has been the characteristic of Wildbirds & Peacedrums behind, and steps down into a dark hole filled with vibrant creativity.
An oriental ambience fuses with the warm silhouettes of experimental pop and unpolished soul in a way that nourishes both body and mind.

The String of Everything” is the first single from Mariam The Believers debut ”Blood Donation” (Repeat Until Death) ; it is a slow wave of pure energy – unfiltered, melodic and direct.
