Playground Music Scandinavia is a leading independent record company and distributor operating since 1999 all over the Nordic region (Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden). Playground Music has vast experience and a great track record in successfully establishing artists and labels in the territory. Playground artists directly signed or represented include: Jenny Wilson, The Rasmus, Jeanette Lindström, Ace of Base & The Concretes among many others. Playground represents several international independent labels such as Beggars Banquet, 4AD, Domino, Matador, XL Recordings... 
Playground Music Publishing AB is the publishing arm of Playground Music Scandinavia AB. We sign and develope Scandinavian artist with international potential who write their own material. We publish their works for the world. We have a joint-venture agreement with Universal Music Publishing Sweden who handle the administration worldwide. We seek synchronisation deals for our music and tracks. All request are welcome! We seek active hard working writers, artists and bands from Scandinavia to publish preferably those who are seeking to have albums or tracks released.

We’re always looking for eager interns to help us with new releases, working on our website, international mktg and solicitations of our music, web 2.0 promotions and general office duties. We also offer opportunities to attend shows and assist with showcases, depending on your talent and assertiveness.
Interns work a minimum of four days a week for a minimum period of 2 months (it can be more) and should have a strong interest in music and the internet. Potential candidates should also have knowledge of MS Office, basic HTML, Photoshop and web 2.0-social networking. They should have also great organizational and administrative skills and can deal with many projects at the same time. Observe: you must be a part of Educational organization; you must fix all living arrangements yourself and for clairity this an uppaid internship.
Interns for Sweden promo division, shall have a great command of the Swedish language and preferable a journalist background. Other Scandinavia languages are a plus for the position..
Internas for the international division it is a requirement to have a great command of the English Language and knowing Swedish is a BIG plus and of course but other language skills are welcome as we do business worldwide.
This is an unpaid internship but an unbelievable opportunity to get hands-on experience within the record company and music publishing enivorment as well as building contacts in the music industry.
