Easy is back with a brand new track!

Does it ever happen that your favorite band, that you thought were long gone, suddenly returns with the perfect pop track you’ve always been longing for? This is exactly what Easy, the Swedish Godfathers of Indie, does with the sparkling single “It’s OK to Cry”.

After a memorable concert at this year’s Emmaboda Festival – where Easy did a 20th-anniversary gig of their debut album “Magic Seed”, playing hits like Cloud Chamber, Horoscope, Castle Train, and Never Seen a Star – Easy shows that they’re not only a big part of the Swedish music history, but still relevant in 2010.

Easy was the first Swedish band since ABBA to charm stubborn English critics and a broader group of radio listeners, which made their unique guitar pop climb the charts. Easy’s concerts were described in terms of ‘emotional explosions’ and came to be a huge source of inspiration to Swedish bands like Popsicle, Brother Daniel and Håkan Hellström.

The debut album “Magic Seed” was released on the legendary Blast First label, which at the time also represented artists like Sonic Youth and Dinosaur Jr. Many foreign pop stars have praised Easy in their hunt for the perfect pop song, and this is probably best summed up by the quote given by one of the biggest Britpop artist, saying -”Just got to love this crazy Swedish stuff! “

With this new single “It’s OK to Cry” Easy shows that 2 minutes and 14 seconds still is enough to set hour heart on fire!
