Playground Music Publishing AB is the publishing arm of Playground Music Scandinavia AB. We sign and develope Scandinavian artist with international potential who write their own material. We publish their works for the world. We have a joint-venture agreement with Universal Music Publishing Sweden who handle the administration worldwide. We seek synchronisation deals for our music and tracks. All request are welcome! We seek active hard working writers, artists and bands from Scandinavia to publish preferably those who are seeking to have albums or tracks released.

Danish musician Asger von Daler was once told a remarkable story in a barbershop in Buenos Aires, a tale of forbidden love across social and racial boundaries and of a dramatic escape from the retribution of the Buenos Aires establishment of the 1920´ies. What struck this Danish musician was that the young lovers,having finally settled in Kingston, Jamaica, after their exhausting escape through Latin America, started their own milonga-tango bar out of necessity and of passion – the first of its kind in Jamaica.
Back in Copenhagen, Asger told the story to friend and fellow musician, Emo. Inspired by the story and the idea of tango in Jamaica, the duo started writing songs for an album that combined melodic tango instrumentation from Argentina with Jamaica’s reggae and dub style: a cooperative effort between two highly skilled musicians with completely different musical backgrounds.
Sonatas En Dub is the result of their combined efforts: a boundary-breaking album that takes you to the tango bars of Buenos Aires as well as to the mountains surrounding Kingston, Jamaica, music with a distinct and beautiful sound full of warmth, heart, and authenticity, rounded out by vocals from Emo and various guest vocalists.
